Boots UK are a health and lifestyle retailer including a wide range of healthcare services, shops and informative material. For this video they wanted to have first-time users reviewing sustainable period products to raise awareness about these alternative products and to also decrease stigma around menstrual health.

Working with Bridget Productions I animated these hand-drawn elements which appear over the footage to highlight certain points or ratings.

During this project I worked with a video editor who provided the rough edit which allowed me animate directly onto the footage with the correct timing and composition.

Since menstrual health can still be an uncomfortable topic for some, we wanted the video to feel friendly and approachable. The hand-drawn elements and the reviewers candid, relaxed presentation really helped to lighten the tone of the piece while providing essential information about the use and effectiveness of each product.
