Since opening commissions for pet portraits on my Ko-fi page I’ve had the opportunity to draw many beloved cats (and even a dog!)

To make the process of commissioning simple, I created a basic template to show how it could be customised for each pet using three examples. Although this is the most basic level of commission I also opened it to more customisation for a slightly higher price.

From each customer I asked for a short description plus any photos if they had them. I’ve received some lovely detailed descriptions and many pictures which made translating these beloved pets into illustration all the more rewarding!

After a round of feedback, each commission was delivered in multiple formats. I’ve had amazing feedback from these portraits with many happy customers printing the illustrations for decoration and even printing one onto a cushion!
